This cache has been left with newcomers specifically in mind.
When we started geocaching in August of 2005, the first five caches
that we found were all within walking distance from our home. It
was a great chance to get out and find a few hides and see what it
was like. When relatives of ours became interested in Niagara
Falls, there seemed to be a lack of those simple easy finds to
allow the newcomers to get their feet wet.
This park is a woodlot within a residential subdivision. The
trails seem to be very well maintained, although the park itself is
relatively small.
The cache should prove to be an easy find, with the hide in an
easy to get to and traditional geocaching spot. As you approach,
make sure you to use your geocaching eyes, and the spot should jump
out at you.
The park is closed between 11pm and 6am, please respect those
that live in the surrounding homes.
I suggest parking at N43 07.168 W079 07.959 and entering at the
nearby trailhead.
Enjoy!
