Geocache Description:

Fisheating creek...now where do you reckon they got a name like that?

Fisheating Creek is another drainage into Lake Okeechobee. It starts in a marsh behind Henscratch in Highlands county and runs southwest through Glades. It passes by the town of Palmdale, and most all of it is on Lykes Bros. property and inaccessable. Many many Indian artifacts have been found along the course of Fisheating Creek.
The cache can be found where this lovely creek goes under highway 78. It is a marine keyfloat and has a piece of string tied to it.
