This will be a nice companion cache to Lost Scouts "Tour Three Rivers #4", located at the very back of this preserve. Cache is located in a wooded area overlooking the St. Joe River, very near the path (within 25 feet). Will probably require insect repellent in the summer months and may be difficult when there are leaves on the trees to block the satellite signal. Might be tough to find this one in the winter.
Park in the Hidden Marsh Preserve parking lot off Buckhorn Road in Three Rivers MI. Cache is a small (30 Cal) Ammo Can hidden in a "normal style". Please respect the wishes of the Preserve Administrators and STAY ON THE PATHS until you reach the cache site. It is less than 25 feet off the marked trail in an area of large trees that limit undergrowth (and GPSR reception), so no real bushwhacking should be required to find it. Cache is nicely stocked and has "The Lonesome Luggage Lock" TB in it to start it out.
