Geocache Description:

The Cache is located at a small Buchanan County Conservation area known as Putty Root Preserve. This area is on a gravel road, but marked by County Conservation signs. Please be respectful of the private property all around the Preserve. There is a small parking area on the west side about 1/8 mile down the access road.

Some geocachers have been confused about the "No tresspassing signs" The one on the tree as you turn onto the access road is posted for the property that is by the road. The stop sign and private property signs that are right by the Putty Root sign refer to the property that is on down the hill to the south.

Putty Root Preserve is named for a rare wild flower, which grows in the area. There is information posted about Putty Root, so in addition to the cache, you can look for Putty Root.

The cache is a rectangular tupperware container. Included in the restored cache on 3/22/15 are cereal box toy, ear buds, a few toys and some girl stuff.
