This cache is placed at one of my favorite spots on the Blackhall River in Old Lyme. The view is west with great sunsets, especially in the winter. You will look for a small size plastic container with room for small trading items. Parking is very close by, just off Route 156 at N 41* 17.332 W 072* 18.709. The spot is great for fishing and if you come at sunset, bring your camera and take some shots to post. If you come in the summer, this area is a great spot to canoe or kayak. There is a launch at the Blackhall Marina across the road. Of course, Hallmarks Ice Cream is just down the road. There is a nearby benchmark to find also-LX0113.
