Background Info:
"While waiting for Mray, we decided to fan our 2.25 million, 1.0 million and 3.0 million candle power lights back and forth in the air as search lights so that Mray could actually find the cache!"

There are always interesting and funny stories that come out of Geocaching. This is one of them. We had been caching in Georgia for some time before we moved to Florida. When we got here to central Florida mraymondus pointed us in the right direction. So eventually he found our first cache we placed down here. Oh what fun he had that night! The logs below are from an actual cache of ours mraymondus found, well eventually found.

Additional Note: There are no spotlights to help you find this cache. Enjoy!

Out night-caching with JetCow, MadSkier, and Mray. Oops, I take that back...mray got lost on this one and did it by himself.

While parked next to some apartments, Jetskier decided to experiment with his car alarm on his brand new cachemobile. "I wonder if I can set off the alarm from way back here in the woods", he pondered out loud while pressing the panic button. Sure enough, from about 300 feet away, while we were in the woods, we (and all the apartment dwellers) hear the screeching alarm go off. What made the experiment interesting was that he could set off his alarm from 300 feet away, but not turn it off! So we all had to listen to the alarm while we walked back to the car.

We offered Mray one of the extra Magellans we had on our dashboard so he wouldn't get lost again, but he decided to stick with his Garmin...and we lost him again on the next cache!

Thanks for the cache.

This was one of the most memorable caches of the night! The car alarm, losing Mray, etc.

The car alarm experiment came about because MadCow was waiting in the car while CacheMonkeez and myself went into the woods for the cache. MadCow then opened the car door which initially set off the alarm. I was able to stop it from 300' in the woods, so I decided to see if I could do it again! Didn't work the 2nd time!

While waiting for Mray, we decided to fan our 2.25 million, 1.0 million and 3.0 million candle power lights back and forth in the air as search lights so that Mray could actually find the cache!

Thanks for the fun adventure.

The nearby roads had been relayed (differing significantly with the maps in my GPS). We got separated in traffic (Jetskier in the lead). My GPS told me to turn left (Beep...Beep-Beep-Beep) at the next light (no sign of the others at that point). So I made the left. Then the GPS said 'make a right'.. It was a marked street - but it looked like a vehicle park for Reedy Creek. I drove all the way to the end.. a dead end.

I was just turning around when the cell rang.. It was Cachemonkeez ('hey, where are you...' the usual ribbing) I backtracked and turned into what appeared to be the correct set of apartments... Nope. Another dead end. Then I tried the next set... Nope.. another dead end. Of course, the cell rang again... same as last time.. 'hey, do you need a Magellan?'

I eventually made it.. Man that was embarrassing!
