Placed along the Haines fire track which can be driven through from a number of locations, the easiest option being the turn off at S35° 02.042', E138° 48.493'. This will take you through historic Paechtown, where some great examples of German architechture are situated.

For a bit more of a challenge, especially in the wet, turn off a bit further South at S35° 03.662', E138° 48.280'. This will take you in an aticlockwise tour of the cache, but has a bit of an obstacle in the way. I took our 1973 Corolla 2-speed auto up it during dry weather, but would have had no show after any decent rain.

Please drive carefully around here, as you will be sharing the roads with locals on horseback. The container is located just off of the track, and is a screw top 100mm stormwater contraption, with all the usual contents pilfered from other caches. Happy hunting.

As an aside, the current cache container used to house our Black Rock Brunch cache, that was hidden just north of Wallaroo, before it was archived. Good cache containers never die, they just get re-purposed!
