Trunk Monkey Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Curious Joe: Good long run. I liked the original idea I had for it, though it hasn't been that way for ten years now. Thanks to all who found it.

Geocache Description:

The Trunk Monkey is a handy option now available to protect caches. The Trunk Monkey is always ready to protect the cache and rush to the defense of the wayward cacher. The original Trunk Monkey, Benny, is now in retirement (rumour has it that he is drying out on a tropical island somewhere). It appears his trunk was much better at keeping water in than out. We have hired a barrelful of his little buddies to serve and protect others.

Have you heard of the Trunk Monkey, that hero of the open road, defender of auto justice, the solution for auto theft, road rage and pesky kids and more? If you haven't, there is some great file footage available at www.trunkmonkeyad.com (among other places) to demonstrate just a few of the many services a Trunk Monkey can provide. This cache is located behind the Lynnwood Recreation Center near the swimming pool on a nice little walking trail created by a Boy Scout troop.

Jan 21, 2007 update: Container is no longer an ammo can but now a large lock-n-lock. Hopefully this one will be more water tight.
