This tiny sliver of a creek side park is located at the foot of a
quiet neighborhood. Evidently the city required the developer to
leave some sort of green strip and this is what was left over. The
park was set up; however the city appears to have forgotten about
its upkeep. Be this as it may, the surrounding housing tract was
built over where once bean fields lay. The stand of Cypress trees
which line the creek along this site and along South Higuera were
planted in the 1860’s and many have been cut down in the name of
progress. Please remember that many eyes are upon you at this site
and stealth is definitely required! People are walking dogs, mowing
lawns, jogging, etc. Please respect the people that live in close
proximity to the site. You do not need to climb over the creek
fence to find what you seek. Watch your step for the doggy-doo! Use
your mind, not muscle to access. Please reset the cache and camo
for the next cacher.
