Ever since I started caching in 2002, I've run across Golf Balls in
caches. Usually they are not new, or that nice, but people always
seem to have some to trade into a cache. Personally I don't think a
golf ball is a good trade item, but that's just me... now I'll let
everyone have a look and see what they think.
Throughout 2005 whenever I found a golf ball in a cache, I
traded it for some other item. This cache is a collection of all
the golf balls I've collected from caches.
If you want to add to the collection, go right ahead. If you
really want a golf ball, go ahead and take one, but only if you
promise it won't end up in another cache.
Placing this cache above a golf course only seemed fitting.
However you can't access it from the golf course. The best way is
to park your car at this parking lot (N40 19.509 W111 40.191)and
head up the gravelroad past the water-tanks. The parking lot is at
one of the trailheads for the Bonneville shoreline trail.
When you get to the water-tanks, you may be tempted to take the
road going down the hollow that appears to be heading straight to
the cache... Don't do it, unless you want some serious uphill
scrambling.
