Once a natural grassland, Virginia Bush is an example of land that has been disturbed and which is now in the process of regeneration. Bush encroachment has infringed onto the grassland to such an extent that only a few small patches of grassland remain. Virginia bush forms part of the secondary coastal dune forest: The soil is sandy and erodes easily. Please show your support by adhering to the signs and remain on the marked trails at all times. Please enjoy your walk. Virginia Bush forms part of the D'MOSS, Durban Metropolitan Open Spaces System. There is a short trail which takes you around the nature reserve.
Virginia bush is a nature reserve that is split in two by a road.
