This is a two part multi-cache in our favorite local park, Tyler
State Park. The above coordinates are the location of the first
stage. There find who carved the date 7/15/29 into a tree. Take the
first letter of the first name and convert it to a number (a=1,
b=2, c=3, etc...). Take the second letter of the last name and
convert it to a number using the same method. Multiply these two
numbers and subtract the total from the first stage North "seconds"
(986) to get the final North coordinates.
Next, to get the final West coordinates, take the number of letters
in the first and last name combined and subtract that number from
the first stage West "seconds" (600). The final cache container is
a small sized tupperware.Bring a writing implement.
There is not really much bushwhacking required, but depending on
which way you approach, it could include a steep incline.
