Skate, hike or bike through one of the prettiest parks in town. Many other caches in this park, enough to keep you busy for awhile, and qualify as great exercise. Beautiful scenery abounds and surrounds the pathway. Water bottle a good idea. Be sure to support this beautiful park with the present-time parking fee of$1.00/hour or all day for $5.00 and remember the park is closed at dusk.
Years previously, this was a camouflage-painted 4" plastic pipe container with screw-lid, plainly marked as a Geo-Cache and with a decal supporting Cache In - Trash Out. Originally, a lanyard attached cache to tree to impede float-away during rainy season. But currently, as a Lee County Parks Permitted (009LP) Cache, its in a clear storage container, also marked as a Geo-Cache,but with no lanyard. This cache has never been described by me as a micro, always as a Regular size. The path you follow will still have to be abandoned for the last few dozen feet. A little bush-wacking never hurt anyone, unless you dont watch your step and get into fire-ants, or razor-sharp scrub palm fronds, or get wet feet in the rainy season. I have always suggested long pants for this one. When closing the cache, please be sure the lid is firmly on to prevent leakage. Please sign log and if you Take a TB, Leave a TB.
