Geocache Description:

Alongside the park & parking area that is on top of The Mule Pass Tunnel. A monument here commemorates that the newer road was constructed by prison labor from 1913 to 1914. The tunnel underneath was constructed in 1958. The same monument also incorrectly proclaims this to be the continental divide. The container is a camouflaged pickle jar with the standard fare.

To get near the cache from Bisbee you can take Tombstone Canyon road to where it turns into 'North Old Divide Road' all the way to the top. If approaching the tunnel on 80 from the north turn onto 'North Old Divide Road' on the left about 1/2 mile before the tunnel; last rd on left.

There are posted 'No Trespassing' signs and fences very near the cache. You do not have to cross these. If you follow your coords from the monument there is a small, steep path into the wooded area where the cache is hidden.

Across the street from the parking lot, a little to the east, is 'North Juniper Flats Road' which is your access point for caches 'Mule's Ears' and 'Between a Rock and a Hard Place.'
