Cuando visites Madrid, no olvides darte un paseo en el parque de Retiro. Alli puedes desconectar del bullicio de la ciudad y tomar algo de aire fresco.
El parque del Retiro es casi el mas conocido, ocupa 120 hectares en el corazón de Madrid y es casi tan grande como el "Hyde Park" de Londres.
El Retiro se originó cómo los jardines del Palacio del Buen Retiro y se abrió al público por un decreto de la primera república en 1868. El Retiro incluye la Rosaleda (un jardin de rosas), un lago dónde se pueden alquilar barcas de remos; alrededor del cual se situan muchos artistas callejeros especialmente durante los fines de semana. Uno de los lugares mas pintorescos es el palacio de Cristal que está localizado en el lado sur del parque.
El cache consiste en un pequeño contenedor de plástico con algunos objetos, entre ellos un lápiz y un libro de registro (que deben permanecer en el cache) y un certificado para los tres primeros localizadores de este cache (que, por supuesto podrán llevarse aquellos buscadores que lo encuentren en primer, segundo y tercer lugar).
Se recomienda encarecidamente tener cuidado con la cantidad de transehuntes que frecuentan este sitio ya que puede estar bastante lleno incluso en los dias mas frios del año.

29-jun-06: Gracias al Equipo Wacosta el cache esta sustituido.
26-ago-06: Ahora el cache es de nuevo un pequeño tuper y su posicion ha movido unos 100 metros. Coordenadas estan actualizadas. Nuevos fotos estan puesto. Espero que este sitio este mas seguro!

Whenever you visit Madrid, don't miss a visit to the Retiro Park. It makes you escape from the busy streets of Madrid and to take some lungs of fresh air.
The Retiro is perhaps Madrid's best known park. It occupies 120 hectares of land in the very centre of Madrid, almost as big as Londons Hyde Park.
The park originated as the gardens of the Palace of the Buen Retiro and was opened to the public by decree of the First Spanish Republic in 1868. The Retiro includes the Rosaleda (a rose garden) and a boating lake, around which there is always a large variety of shows and street theatre during the weekends. One of the pictures show the Palacio de Cristal (the Crystal Palace). It is located on the south side of the park.
The cache consists of a small tupper box, containing multiple things, including a pen and a logbook (which should remain in the cache) and certificates for the first three finders.
You should be mindful of the foot traffic along the pathway, since it can be quite busy on even the coldest or wettest day.

29-jun-06: Thanks to Equipo Wacosta cache has been replaced. Now it is a micro.
26-Aug-06: Now the cache is again a little tupper and is has been moved around 100 meters. Coordinates are updated and new photos are uploaded. Hope, the new place is more segure!
