Ammo can hidden in the Mulholland Senic overlook. While you are there, stop and take a look at the view below you, especially at night. You can see the whole San Fernando Valley, along with watching planes land at the Van Nuys Airport. There is no parking allowed on the overlook between 9PM and 6AM.
This will be the starting point of the T-I-GG-R travel bug.
