AHOY MATEY!! Long before Jack Sparrow and Davey Jones stole me fame and fortune with their little movies...I was the most feared pirate on the seven seas. ARRHH!! Me crew and I pilaged and plundered from Cancun to Cuba and beyond and the kings gold was never safe when the black flag of me old ship flew above the yardarm. ARRHH!!
But alas...the sands of time have past me by and I find me self with little left of me fortune. ARRHH!! All's that is left of me gold is hidden on SKULL ISLAND, a place ye land lubbers call Disney's Castaway Cay. Me bounty of gold is tucked away in a secret spot on the far end of the terrible island.
To keep ye treaserous hands off me precious booty, I have hidden it deep amongst the fona and flora. ARRHHH!! Those daring to venture after me treasure will either strike it rich or run into my first mate. He is my most trusted crewman, so if ye run into him, ye better have a quick hand and a sharp blade. I have given him orders to protect me gold with his life!!! ARRRHH!!! Good luck on yer quest.

For those that don't understand pirate talk:
This cache is located in the beautiful BAHAMAS! It can be found on Castaway Cay, the small Disney owned island accessible only by the Disney cruise ships.
The cache is located at the far end of the island and can be reached either by bike or by trolly (there will be a short walk if you take the trolly.) There is a very wide dirt road/trail that leads back to the area of the cache. Along the trail, there are water coolers and restrooms. There are also lots of photo opportunities, especially from the viewpoint of the cache. The vista is gorgeous! Beware of MUGGLES...the spot can be very crowded at times.
NOTE - The cache is NOT located in the adults only area and you DO NOT need to cross over into the "do not enter" area to access the cache.
This is a kid-friendly cache. I highly recommend renting a bike. It makes the process much easier and in my opinion FUN. There are bikes available for rent for both adults and kids. The adults can even get bikes with baby seats.
DO NOT try and walk to this cache from the ship. It is too far and it will take too long.
Staring in Feb 2019, caching trinkets and prizes will no longer be allowed in the container. The only items allowed in the container will be small travel bugs. I am requesting this due to the physical size of the container. It is not big enough to hold everything so I would request that we limit it to travel bugs.
