Not far from Ballinruan Village, the Gort - Tulla mountain road passes through the townland of Gortnamearacaun. Here you will find a rocky outcrop, affording you a magnificent view of the Burren, Galway Bay, Lough Cutra, and beyond.
The area around the cache is very boggy, so unless you want wet feet, the rock is best tackled from the "Access Point" waypoint.
