This should be an easy find, accessible to everyone in our great little German heritage town. This cache shows off one of the town’s icons (especially at night!).
This is the second cache in our great little town of Lovettsville. This traditional cache is hidden behind an icon of the town. The road is even named after it. This icon has been around since 1765. Accompanying the icon is a cemetery with stones that date back just as far. The view from the cemetery is spectacular in the fall. This should be an easy find that will expose you to a beautiful place in our town with a lot of history nearby. The cache is a clear plastic box that contains a log book and has been appropriately stuffed with items to trade. You can park here: N 39 deg, 15.464’ by W 77 deg, 38.384’ Note: placed with express permission of property owners, but the neighbor on the other side of the fence does not appreciate folks in their yard. Please stay on the cemetery side of the fence.
