Geocache Description:

There is no cache at the posted coordinates. Please do not look for a cache there!!!

This is a DAYLIGHT only cache. You will need to bring a toothpick with you...or something like one.

Please park on the street, but be sure not to block the way.

In order to find this cache you must first check out the three traditional caches listed below:

 GC25CG7 ~ Ichi

 GC3KG5H ~ Ni

 GCRGD0 ~ San

These 3 caches will have the needed coordinates and a tool (no longer in the cache - bring a toothpick with you!) required to log this puzzle cache. Once you have the tool and needed information from those three, and have solved the following logic puzzle, you can then make your way toward the cache.

The cache is located at : N40 19.ABX W080 04.CYZ. You will find the values of A,B,C,X,Y and Z in the three traditional caches. Having just the coordinates will not be sufficient enough to be able to sign the logbook. You must also solve the following logic puzzle!

LOGIC PUZZLE:

With a field of five for the south hills marathon race, there was little to no interest from the local gamblers. In order to spark some interest in the event and earn some money, the local bookie decided to open the books to multiple bets at high odds. In order to place a multiple bet, you must bet on two propositions. You will win only if both propositions turn out to be true. Unfortunately, these 5 bets were not winning bets!

    1) Frank Graham will not win the gold, nor Billy Casker the silver.

    2) Edith Forge will win a medal, and Jack Angel will not.

    3) Jack Angel and Darla Edwards will both win medals.

    4) Jack Angel will not win the silver, nor Darla Edwards the bronze.

    5) Frank Graham will win a medal, and Edith Forge will not.

So, who won each of the medals?

 Give your answers in initials!

                Gold -    ___. ___.

                Silver -  ___. ___.

                Bronze - ___. ___.

Now that you have solved the logic problem and you have the coordinates, make your way to the cache site.

The cache is placed on private property with permission, so please be respectful. Leave everything just as you found it. If you see the owner, feel free to say hello! Good luck and happy caching! Note: as always, the log book must be signed to earn that smilie.

FTF honors go to Ruffledostrich!
