A large ammo box along the Stevens Creek Nature Trail in Monte Bello Open Space Preserve.
Whether you are going up or down the seemingly endless (but beautiful) switchbacks on the Stevens Creek Nature Trail, there comes a point where many people will think, "Are we there yet?" Well, if your destination is this cache, your answer may be "yes!"
The cache is a large ammo box a little ways from the trail. You do NOT need to bushwhack up or down the hill.
The original contents of this cache were:
- LOTS of hotwheels
- 3 Travel Bugs
- log book
- pen
and for the first to find:
- an unregistered Travel Bug tag
Please note that Monte Bello Open Space Preserve is open from sunrise to 1/2 hour after sunset.
