Geocache Description:

Come find a secluded lake, great for dogs! While you won't see people, you may see a UFO on the horizon, if you have an imagination...

This could be easy, or tough, depending on how you go about it. Either way, the lake (pond?) is a nice place to reflect. See a blue heron!

Some of the area can be overgrown in summer. Other areas are overgrown all the time, but you should be able to avoid this. Placing the cache in November, footwork was a breeze.

We park on Plum Orchard Rd. The business office park is not recommended as an alighting place.

Please hide the cache well - we want the hunt to be a bit of a challenge, as the hike is pretty easy.

When viewing the lake, your curiosity may be drawn to the earthen dam to the south, which provides a view of gravel pit entry roads. A word of caution: that end of the pond is where the detrius of suburbia collects - you never know what you might find there. Then again, you may want to take advantage and explore all you can while it is still like this: change is coming! Can you Picture how it will look years from now?

If you missed the lake, it may be you went into the woods "early," following your pointer. One can get to GZ avoiding alot of the woods, by following an abandoned road along wood's edge (and see the lake). Honk honk honk, say the geese!
