Geocache Description:


Located in the center of Danbury, the 911 Memorial consists of a 12-foot glass tower sitting on a Connecticut granite pentagon base. Surrounded by lights so, the tower is illunimnated at night. Etched in the tower are the names of all Connecticut's deceased, with names of Danbury's deceased prominently displayed in the center of the tower. It was dedicated in September 2004.

Take a moment, sit and remember those lost. The micro will be nearby. Log only - bring a pencil.

The cache container and location were changed on April 25, 2009. Those who found the cache before can consider this a NEW CACHE and find it again. The container is very covert. It is a stand alone system that coordinates directly with the clue. It can be reached from the seating area near the memorial.
