A plush accommodation awaits
TB's needing an exchange point to parts unknown. Even though this
cache is at the start of the West Penn Trail, wear blaze orange
during hunting season to be safe.
This is an easy cache
to find. The contents include a welcome from your hostess Miss
Emily, and a backdrop of various photos in which to take a travel
bug photo. There are magnets on the backs of the photos so that the
backdrops can be magnetized to the side of the ammo can and a
picture taken. There are several gifts besides 3 starting travel
bugs in the cache. You can leave various gifts if you would like,
but this is really just a staging area for geocachers to launch
TB's, find TB's, or to send their TB on vacation. Because of
various GPS signals, I have provided a starting point in which to
search. When you get to the parking area, you will see a large
"stone" pier. Staying close to the pier, walk as if you are heading
down the trail, and follow your GPS from there. There is a hunter's
trail. The cache is very close but well hidden in a camoe'd ammo
can so that only a geocacher would find it. This is to ensure the
safety of the TB's that will be placed in the ammo can during their
stay. If you have children and would like to give them a little
more excitement, they could begin to go down the West Penn Trail
and make an almost immediate left up the small hill. The cache will
be very close.
