Welcome to “Survey This!” – A simple offset cache
We placed this cache after a couple of fruitless attempts at a nearby (now archived) cache.
If you can get to the exact GZ you should be standing on top of a large stone survey cairn. The published co-ordinates have been taken from the bottom of a nearby information sign.
To locate the cache, you will need to answer the following questions:
In what year was a trigonometrical survey mark placed at the summit? – ABCD
In what decade was the survey mark replaced with the cairn you see today? – ABEF
Your final location is not far away at S37 23.0DC E144 34.6FE
