An easy "Virtual Cache" with historical connections.
An amazing place, so I don't want to give too much away to spoil the fun.
If you come from Littlebourne on the bridleway, it makes a beautiful walk, horse ride or mountain bike ride, especially on a nice day. An OS map would be worth taking as the signposting is poor (or enter TR205565 into Get-A-Map at (visit link)
For a quick kill, you can probably park at the end of the road literally a few metres, a railway bridge, and a gate from the cache.
What you find is probably not in its original position, but may have been moved to this spot in order to clear the aerodrome for cultivation. If anyone has any information about their new collective location, please let me know.
There is no longer a cache container as it has been repeatedly trashed, but the spot is so worthwhile a visit that I am converting it to a Virtual Cache so we can all continue to enjoy the place.
