Waypoint 1. (Cache Heading) S33deg.56.170 E018deg.51.516.This building is on "Die Braak"(fallow land)which was used as a parade ground from 1703.
Here you will find a sundial. You need the last digit of the year to give you A.
Waypoint 2. Head to S33deg.56.181. E018deg.51.460.
This house's gable is an example of early Neo-classical style. It is now the HQ of the Historical Homes of SA Foundation. The second digit in the year will give you B.
Waypoint 3. Off you go to S33deg.56.208 E018deg.51.479.
This building, previously a powder magazine, now houses a small military museum. Third digit in year + 1 gives you C.
Waypoint 4. Turn right into Markstraat and left into Herte Str. Note Toy Museum. Head for S33deg.56.380 E018deg.51.347. In 1876 this property was bought by Johannes Heyneke. You need the last digit in the amount he paid for it to give you D.
Waypoint 5. Up the road you go. Find S33deg.56.354 E018deg.51.473. Note the gable's famous plaster relief of the Lord's All Seeing Eye. First digit of house number less 8 will equal E.
Waypoint 6. Go to S33deg.56.262 E018deg.51.527.
This building was built in 1823 as a school for the children of slaves and extended in 1840. Number of bells at this waypoint + 4 will give you F.
