Geocache Description:

There are two options for this cache. Option 1 For a short walk(quarter of a mile downhill to the cache) park on the roadside at N51° 18.856 W002° 56.410. (VIEWPOINT) Points of interest from here are, Brent Knoll(4 miles South ), Hinkley Point Nuclear power station and Quantock Hills( 11 miles and 16 miles South West ) and Glastonbury Tor ( 16 miles South East ). To locate the cache walk downhill along the lane(Roman Road) turning left over a stile onto a footpath going across a field.
Option 2 is a 2 mile circular walk, start by leaving your car at the free car park N 51° 18.412 W 002° 56.843 in Bleadon Village where you will also find toilets and a playground for children. The route is not suitable for buggys and rises 100m in 1100m. Turn left out of the car park and walk along Coronation Road turning in to Celtic Way past the Queens Arms and up the lane taking care as there are no footpaths. At the top of the hill where the road bends left a footpath sign points right and then left into the drive of a house, at the end of this drive you pass a sign to Combe Martin. Follow the footpath climbing uphill through trees, across a field, through more trees to the cache, now keep on the footpath across another field until you reach a stile taking you onto a lane (Roman Road) turn right along this lane for about 275 metres. (VIEWPOINT see Option 1) Just opposite "Gracelands" turn right over a stile and walk downhill over another stile turning slightly towards the West continue down to a gate onto a drive which exits onto a road. Turn right on this road (Shiplate Road) which eventually turns into Coronation Road and back to the car park.
