The Caching Dead: After the recent DNF logs, we went to check on the cache area today. There were new "Private Property" and "No Trespassing" signs all around the property. There were also chains across the driveway, but they were down today, and a gentleman was outside, so we stopped. The man introduced himself as the new landowner. We explained geocaching and took him to GZ, which has definitely changed, but the collapsing mine was still there and the cache was still in place. He was very nice and understood the game and the significance of this being the first cache placed by txoilgas, but he did not seem receptive of leaving the cache in place. Sadly we must archive this one.
