This is the second of a series of four (4) micro-caches in the Kingwood Area. All of these are located along and/or within about 1/2 mile of Woodland Hills Dr. These caches are called “Livable Forest”, Parts I, II, III, IV. I certainly tried to come up with a little more clever name, but I was running out of ideas, so you’ll have to live with it.
Each of these four micro-caches contains a portion of the final coordinates of a regular (Ammo Box) cache called Livable Forest, Grand Finale. Be sure to write down the partial coordinates given (inside the container lids) at each of the micros for your use later in locating the Grand Finale (Mystery Cache).
All of these micros are located in areas that are available only from dawn-to-dusk so plan your visits accordingly.
Now for some info on Part II……
You are looking for a small container (larger than a 35 MM film canister but still small, 6”+ in length). It is located 30 or 40’ off a paved trail. Best parking is in the vicinity of N 30 02.467, W 095 13.148.
It is only a short walk to the cache (a little more than .1mi).
