ODragon: Not one to wait four weeks to archive a cache, I'm going to do it now.

I'm posting pictures to this log for all. Thanks again to all who showed!

Woodside can predate his log at any point (if he decides to log it at all!)

Geocache Description:

I lived in Middle Village Queens for the first 18 years of my life, then moved off to college and haven’t lived there again. In the 10 years since I left (I can’t believe it’s 10 years), I’ve stayed at my parents place and cached the 5 boroughs. As I write this, I’ve found 901 caches, 58 of them are in NY State meaning that the above number is the percent of caches I’ve found in the state.

As I get closer to 1000 I reflect upon the caches I’ve done, the places I’ve been to and the people I’ve met. In NY, I’ve met two cachers, JoeFrog]visit link) and Tatanka49.]visit link) I’ve never had a chance to get to an event in NYC to meet other people but I’m hoping that this will be my opportunity. Since there are none planned over this holiday while I’ll be home, I figured I would set one up.

On Tuesday December 27th, I am going to be at Phillies Pizza (my favorite place for pizza) located at 74-02 Eliot Av, Middle Village, NY 11379 from 7:00 pm until well, I’m not sure. I’ll be there at least an hour or more. If people can’t get there until later, I will change the time. The above time is somewhat dynamic on what the logs say of people who can (or want to) attend.

Phillies has a parking lot for those interested in driving in and the Q38 stops right in across the street.

(Take the R, V or the G to the Woodhaven Blvd, Queens Mall stop. Once outside, take the Q38 to 74th street and Eliot ave. I'm not sure the exact bus stop but it's within a block of there).

Just an FYI, I'd appreciate that when you drop bug, you delete the note you use to do it. The bugs will stay in the events inventory and it will keep the logs clean. Thanks!
