ickster: Well, after 10 years and over 500 visitors, it's time to put this cache to rest. It seems like the cache location has become a favorite place for our dispossessed persons.

Geocache Description:

An easy access, flat terrain cache in one of the nicest Memorial Parks I know of. Note: Park is closed 9pm-6am.

Please be discreet - High muggle Zone. May best be done with the assistance of a "lookout". Please rehide as found, since drawing attention in this area will inevitably result in someone investigating the cache hiding spot. The cache is not directly behind the building, but off to one side.

Since this is such a lovely park, I wanted to get people out to see it. Well maintained, it pays tribute to those lost to War. Have a good look around the park, as there are many hidden plaques to discover. I also find the main monument to be one of the nicest given its relatively small size.

Other great parts of this park:

a. X-Mas lighting is quite nice in Dec

b. be sure to visit one of the few remaining "Garbage Gobblers". Here's a link explaining them: (visit link)
