This cache is based on the song “The Key, The Secret” (you will recognise it!) and singing the song whilst looking for the final hide is compulsory!
Originally to claim this cache you had to find one of two TB's which gave you the co-ordinates for the cache but these went missing some time ago so the criteria have been changed.
Therefore to get the co-ordinates from us you need to have visited and logged two suitable caches in the area, that is:-
GCT3HK - M1 J15: Trainspotting
GC7B8F3 - MK's "Friendly" Cows!
Message us and we will check this and then happily provide the final co-ordinates for you. Any logs that have not found the two caches will be deleted.
Once you have completed the requirements, your first mission is deciding where to park, please take care whilst doing this cache as the location is near water and depending on where you decide to park there are main roads.
You are looking for a small cameo'd clip lock box ; please take care when retrieving / replacing the cache as it is hidden well. To get to the cache depending on which direction you approach you will either go through or be near an area of interest with marked footpaths. You DO NOT need to go into this area to retrieve the cache but it is worth a visit. Please do not leave the footpaths or search in this area, it is monitored by CCTV camera’s and that could take some explaining…………..
When you go into the area of trees the GPS goes into mad teenager mode and can take a while to settle, I have checked the co-ordinates several times and they have taken me straight to the cache.
This is a very enjoyable little location and you will see the title is very appropriate once to get there.
