Geocache Description:

A puzzle to solve followed by a short walk on the Quantocks.

The co-ordinates above are not for the cache – they are for a nearby trig point, from which, on a clear day, you can see Exmoor & the Brendon Hills, the Blackdown Hills and South Wales. To find the cache, you will first need to solve a little puzzle.

If Dartmoor = 1951 then
Exmoor = ABCD
Blackdown Hills = EFGH
Quantock Hills = IJKL

The cache is hidden at
N51.07 (G-H) (K+H) (C+2)
W003.12 (D+D) (C-K) G

Checksum – the sum of all the individual digits in the co-ordinates should be 57.

There is no need to enter any fields, remove any stones or climb up the bank. The cache is a small cylindrical beaker with room for a few small swaps.

You could easily combine this with Our Sunday Walk (GCRAJ3) and/or If You Go Down to the Woods Today (GCPWE7). Off-road parking is available nearby.
