Geocache Description:

Solve a Sudoku puzzle and find the coordinates hidden inside. Do not go to the listed coordinates.

Sudoku puzzles are all the rage these days. Geocaching.com has hundreds of caches based on such puzzles on the list—scattered all over the globe. This cache is slightly different than most in that the coordinates of the cache are directly viewable in the puzzle—no arithmetic is required.

In case you don’t do these puzzles on a daily basis, here is a description of how Sudoku puzzles are solved. The object is to place the numbers 1 to 9 in the empty squares so that each row, each column and each 3-by-3 box contains the same number only once.

There is a unique solution that contains the coordinates of the cache. When you are done solving the puzzle, look for the coordinates. None of the provided digits are used for the location coordinates.

The best parking is slightly east of the cache. As always, be careful. The cache is a 4" cylindrical container 1.75” in diameter.
