I thought by waiting a day, the logs and email would die off a little, but it seems like it may never stop! lol Thanks to everyone for attending the event! Who would have ever guessed that a little meet & greet would turn out the numbers to rival an actual geocache event. People attended from PA, NC, Eastern Shore, and of course the far reaches of Virginia. Thanks again to everyone who attended, and hopefully you got some good caching done while you were in town.

I would be a real putz if I didn't take this opportunity to thank some real saviors of the event.

PA Ladi and Beaconbabe, thanks for the Birthday cake for Gene. That was a great cake design! I am glad that The Warner Family included us in their celebration plans. I guess were sort of their PA connection in VA!

PyroNorm, Thanks for the giveaway prizes! That was an unexpected show of hospitality and I think it turned out for the best, we now know who the oldest cacher in the area is, we know who has the lowest amount of finds and of course we know who got stolen from more than anyone else participating in the auction. Thanks again.

Peguincacher, Thanks for printing the name tags. One detail that would have gone unnoticed by us until everyone showed up wondering who everyone else was. Printed 80 name tags and for the record there was 1 left when we got home.

Whoever brought the baskets of specially decorated candy bars and matchbooks with the mint inside, Thank you! That was a nice touch. Who would have ever thought of a mint after a meal, Great idea! Thanks alot.
