This is my first ever cache placement!
Koondoola is situated 13km from Perth GPO. Koondoola is an Aboriginal word meaning 'emu', and was approved as the name for this suburb in 1970.
The site for my cache is a protected site under the “Bush Forever” program and is an important heritage area even if it doesn’t look like it!
There are 9 available entrances to the fenced-in area. There are good hard limestone paths which make the bushland more user friendly, and I encourage those who visit to stay on the paths until close to the cache.
