A Fishy Trail Multi-Cache

This cache is temporarily unavailable.

Knagur Green:

We have received a request to archive your cache page as the physical cache appears to be in need of maintenance and there has been no recent indication that timely maintenance may be forthcoming.

I'm temporarily disabling it, to give you an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary

You are responsible for occasional visits to your cache to ensure it is in proper working order, especially when someone reports a problem with the cache (missing, damaged, wet, etc.) or posts a Needs Maintenance log. Temporarily disable your cache to let others know not to search for it until you have addressed the problem.

Please enable your cache by selecting 'enable' on the right hand side of the listing , once the cache has been replaced/repaired, or checked that it is still in situ.

The Geocache Maintenance guideline explains a CO's responsibility towards checking and maintaining the cache when problems are reported.

Caches that have been archived for lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. This is explained in the Help Center

If you no longer wish to maintain the cache then the listing should be archived.

Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 30 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness. If you plan on repairing this cache,but cannot get to it within 30 days, please log a note to the cache page (not email) to let the community know

Thank you for understanding

Geocache Description:

This is a four-stage multi-cache, which begins in Fisherman's Cove in the vicinity of Dhekelia Garrison near a famous Fish ‘n’ Chip shop. The trail follows a coastal track with some good views of Cape Pyla. The route is not circular and you will need a vehicle and approx 1 hour to complete it.

The tracks used during this hunt are suitable for any vehicle

The trail begins at N34°58.881 E033°44.313.

This building was opened on the AB April 19CD (plaque at entrance).
Go inside the church. There are F men in the boat.
Using the values of these letters, work out the following:

G = A + B
H = F - A

(Make a note of all calculations and numbers as they will be needed later!)

The second stage of the cache is to be found at N34°58.FGC E033°46.AHH
Looking in a North Westerly direction from these coordinates, you will see a changing area and showers, count the number of cubicle doors and call that J.

K = J - H

The third stage is at N34º58.KDK E033º49.ABG.
The original route between stages 2 and 3 has been blocked, but can be accessed a little further East. Cross over the highway, but do not drive onto it. Head for the waypoint given below which will take you to this stage. Here you will find Maria (although her name is no longer visible as she is rather the worse for wear) who will provide a three digit number which you should call LMP.

Q = L + M - P
R = P - A

The final stage of this trail is located at N34º57.RAQ E033º50.KMG

It is not necessary to proceed beyond any military signs between stages 3 and 4.
Once you have re-hidden the cache and retraced your route back to the steps, turn left and climb the gentle slope to an unusual holy place.

Depart the cache area by the tarmac road and signs from the nearby village will see you on your way.
