Geocache Description:

This cache is the first of many along the route of Trammel's Trace...the first road into Texas from the north during the early 1800's. The cache is an ammo box with many goodies inside. Take some time to read the historical marker at the old cemetery. Oldest graves are from the 1850's and 1860's. To learn more about Trammel's Trace, go to www.trammelstrace.org.
