Geocache Description:

BEAUTIFUL SHORE

To find me look to the north;
my presence you will see.
A great and mighty tree
holds my cache and SWAG to be.
A log is there to enter visits by Cachers such as we.
A view of great Superior is a benefit for free.

The name reflects the place. There are black cedar, black willow and black rocks. Additionally, this is the place where the Gaines family, the first black family to settle in Marquette, lived. I think they were blacksmiths. The rock is called Gaines Rock in their honor.

contents:
log and pencil
Someplace Special Patch.
Skippy TB
Dice
assorted support/fund raiser pins
