Geocache Description:

This is a Historical Cache.

This "Gods Acre" was the burial place of Moravian missionaries and Cherokees. Located less than a half mile from the Historic Chief Vann House. Cheif Vann was the benefactor and gave the Moravians the land to open the "Springplace Mission". Which brought the Christian religion to the Cherokees in 1801.If you have time, the Chief Vann House is down the road. You should check it out! Well worth the trip and history lessons! $4 Adult admission. (Be sure to tell them your a Geocacher:)
This is a regular Ammo container filled! Kid friendly. This is our first cache. The Cords are a little off, it is easy to access the cache. ie. not a lot of places to hide an ammo box in a graveyard with no tombstones. Please, No Night Caching.(We don't want to upset the neighbors.) Happy Caching! I have recieved permision to place this cache here by the manager at the Vann House site, who is responsible for both grounds.
