This is a two stage cache that involves the solution of a Sudoku puzzle. Both caches are located off a path in River Hill that is parallel to Route 32. Access to the path is from Great Star across from River Hill Pool or shorter walks are from various heighborhoods off of Great Star.
Stage #1 has been moved since it has been muggled several times. One needs to bushwack approximately 300 ft to stage #1. The terrain is 2.5 but could be 3.5 in summer with all the briars out.
This is a two-stage cache in which you need to solve a Sudoku puzzle to find stage 2 coordinates. Sudoku is a number puzzle in which the numbers 1 through 9 are placed in a 9x9 grid that is subdivided into 9 3x3 squares. The object is to fill in every square in the 9x9 grid so that every vertical column, every horizontal row and every 3x3 box contains the numbers 1 through 9 without repeating any number. The coordinates given are to stage 1. In the cache there is a Sudoku puzzle that you need to solve (This puzzle came from Washington Post and was rated Hard). The numbers in the appropriate squares yield the coordinates of stage 2. The stage two coordinates are
