Geocache Description:

The NYGO Pub Bug has returned to the Tonawandas!

Chase away your winters blues and join us for another Pub Night (families welcome) at the historic "Dockside Inn" in the City of North Tonawanda, located right on the canal's edge. The festivities start at 6:00pm on Saturday January 14, 2006 and will include a special, limited menu including a kids menu, three dinner choices, soup & sandwiche combos and finger foods for those who aren't too hungry. All drinks for the evening will be discounted. We are booked as a private party and will have the entire restaurant/bar to ourselves. The owners are very excited to have us there. Please post a note to let us know you are coming and how many are in your party if you haven't already.

As for local caching, there are 36 caches within a 3 miles radius of the restaurant, three of which are just a short walk away. We will also be hiding two caches nearby just for the event. Skeeterbait and Strikeforce One will be holding a raffle. The prize: a ready-made cache, an ammo can filled with trade items. In addition sneaky Skeeterbait has a mystery cache planned and I believe MrMom has a few things up his sleeve too. More details will be revealed the night of the event.

Also, as MrMom will be heading for Las Vegas in February again, anyone who would like to order a personalized NYGO sign (see picture on this cache page) may do so that evening. And, please bring any travel bugs that need to head out West.
