Cibachrome and Widgeon 1178 are hosting a Cacher's Social on Sunday, January 29, 2:00 PM EST at the Columbus Visitor's Center in Columbus. The Visitor's Center is located at the Corner of Front Avenue and 9th Street in Uptown Columbus. Join us for an opportunity to meet our fellow cachers in the area and to learn from one another. Bring your GPS and any other neat toy or idea you might want to share with the group.
We will provide refreshments and even some nice door prizes. In the visitor's Center you will have access to all of their brochures and travel and venue information for our area.
Please join us, we promise a good time for all. Please log on and tell us if you can come.
What a great list of attendees. Thanks for agreeing to join us. Here are a few details of what we have planned:
We will gather in the Visitor Center for great food and drink and conversation for as long as you like and then we will move upstairs for some presentations.
Tarvol has agreed to talk about the Georgia Geocache Association.
Jake will discuss different kinds of cache containers.
Martin from Franklin will talk about his PDA and paperless caching.
Thanks to those for agreeing to share their knowledge with us.
Widgeon 1178 will have gifts for everyone from the Columbus Convention and Visitor's Bureau and we will draw for door prizes throughout the meeting.
Come hungry and full of curiosity. If you have a door prize to contribute that would be great. We look forward to seeing all of you on Sunday. Please let me know your "real" name so we can put it on a name tag.
