Barber's Hill Oil Field Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Prime Reviewer: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

A difficult park and grab about a mile from the highest point in Chambers County. This cache will not require poking around in the trees, brush, or weeds. It's small size limits the swag to coins, stickers, patches or other small, narrow items. Enjoy the Hunt.

Welcome to Mont Belvieu, The LPG Capitol of the World. Home of the Fighting Eagles. Near here, Elmer Barber was drilling a water well and struck flammable gas. Oops. A town is born. The drilling is done. Now, we're as likely to put petroleum products into the ground as to take them out. You see, Barber's Hill is a salt dome that is used for LPG storage. Enjoy The Hunt !
