Geocache Description:

Truth or Fiction - see for yourself

There are many stories of a strange mythical creature which haunts these mountains. Some say it lies next to the side of the road waiting patiently for its next unsuspecting victim to pass by. Motionless, almost stone like, it waits, until it detects its prey, then in an instant it’s over. The only evidence of any human activity is usually that of bottles and tins which cannot be digested.

Others speak of the incredible sadness and solitude of being the last specimen of a species. When all that’s left to do is lay down and wait for the reaper to take his dues. . Some mention the word dragon, and look away in the hope that they may still maintain a note of sanity.

Did dragons ever exist? – take a short walk from the parking area and find out….
