Geocache Description:

This is for all the aviation buffs out there.

This cache is just down the street from the outdoor Family Viewing Area which is located near the east runway at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. Nearly one acre has been set aside to provide a vantage point for watching planes land and take off on the airport's 9,000 foot east runway. This viewing spot offers a paved parking area and picnic tables, so take a snack or meal and enjoy the view. The Family Viewing Area is at the end of Golf Course Road, which is on the south side of Hwy 71 East and just east of the airport's entrance. Recommended viewing times when the most flights are landing and taking off include mornings from 6-11 a.m., afternoons from 1:30-3 p.m., and evenings beginning around 7:30 p.m. If there are muggles present, you will need to use extreme stealth while searching for and replacing the cache. If you have a scanning radio or other air band radio, you can listen to the flight controllers and pilots on the following frequencies:

Tower (East): 121.0

Tower (West): 118.225

Ground: 121.7 and/or 121.9
