Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Something's Fishy series! In each of the five caches you will find a picture of a Pacific Salmon under the lid. You must identify what species of salmon it is and then collect the correct numbers from the laminated sheet inside the box. You will need to collect two numbers from each of the five caches to reveal where the final cache has been placed! Have fun and enjoy the views.

This is the first cache of the series. This cache location shows just how much a river can change. This used to be a bee keepers property until the river changed course and wiped out all the land. Recently, the river swung several hunder metres back the other way leaving this area high and dry. Please ensure you hide the cache as well as you found it (or better) so the next person has fun finding it. Don't forget to take your two numbers with you!
