Geocache Description:

Located on the edge of a historical place hidden in the town of Tamaqua. I made the terrain a 2.5 because it is difficult to find the location.

This is the second in a series dedicated to the Molly Maguires. The coordinates will take you to the final resting place of John Kehoe. John "Black Jack" Kehoe, the county delegate of the AOH, named the "King of the Mollies," hung on December 18, 1878, for the stoning death of Frank W. J. Langdon in 1862. Other Mollies are supposed to be buried here as well.

The gates are locked for a reason, please respect the area and stay on the sidewalk side of the fence. Cache is accessible from the sidewalk. Bonus points for the person who gets a photo of Kehoe's tombstone. Beware of muggles, lots of nosey people in the area as well as tourists. This is a historical site. Please bring your own pen....

Please make note of the combination number in the upper right of the log, write this number down for a future cache.

Enjoy...
