Parking is available at the fitness facility nearby, with a 5 minute walk required to reach the cache. The cache is situated on the border of the bush and the dirt road, but the road may be muddy in winter. Please be aware of snakes in this area.
This geocache is a dedication to a colleague and friend who is leaving Shepparton. While others were filming clichéd farewell messages, I was preparing something of substance, something with a bit of heart, something that would forever make her part of Shepparton – a geocache in her name!
This cache has a theme – Jokes! The written kind, the practical kind, but most importantly the ‘fun for all ages’ kind. Upon finding the cache, there is a further challenge based on a cryptic symbol which movie buffs are most likely to appreciate.
The cache is a 1kg Milo tin. It contains a log book, pen, a selection of poor taste Christmas Bon-Bon jokes, and a good selection of novelty items that the young and young at heart will enjoy.
Please maintain the theme when swapping items.
If you are going to attempt Shepparton Waterways at the same time as Joke Alley, do Waterways first - it will save you some footwork!
